If you had already downloaded/printed the timetable, or picked up a copy at Friday's Jummah prayer, please disregard the copy; the new timetable is currently being printed.
NEW Central Jamme Mosque branding
We are introducing a branding overhaul for the mosque in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for a brand new logo, website, and full-year prayer timetable coming soon! In the meantime, we strongly urge everyone to keep donating as much as possible towards the mosque. Remember, charity does not decrease wealth, Insha Allah!
Saad Nomani - Surah Hashr (verses 15-24)
Fundraising Dinner
We held an exclusive Fundraiser Dinner on 8 May 2011 where we have managed to raise an incredible £67,365 including pledges and Karz-e-Hasana! We were just £2,635 short of our £70k target! Jazaak Allah Khair to everyone for their donations and time. More than £55k has already been paid up. If you have not yet paid or would like to add a further donation, please come and see us in person. Remember we can also donate online at all times!
Essential Fiqh of Ramadan by Moulana Abdul Hannan
An 8 week course, discussing the Essential Fiqh of Ramadan, as elucidated in the "Ascent To Felicity" of Imam Shurunbulali, will be taught by Maulana Hannan at our mosque.
First class begins on Tuesday 7th June at Central Jamme Mosque at 8.30pm, and is open to brothers and sisters.
Registration is required. Email faisal.iqbal@ymail.com to register.
The normal registration fee is £25 but only £20 for those who completed the purification course.

Atgram Systems has recently acquired and donated the domain readingmosque.com, which will be used as our primary website address from now on.
Ramadan Donations Update (1431/2010)
We have managed to raise a total of £43,565 in donations, and £107,000 in Karz-e-Hasana. "Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah builds for him a mansion in Jannah" (Al-Hadith, Sahih Bukhari). Please continue to donate generously!
Important Public Notice
No collection/appeal for collection should be made at the Mosque without prior written permission from the Mosque Committee.
If anyone tries to do so, they will be evicted with the help of the Police.
PS: please write to the Chairman/Secretary for permission.
Mosque Re-development Progress: 65% Complete
We are currently undergoing a major re-development project. The estimated
cost for the projected development is £750,000. However, we are still urgently in need of additional funds
(approximately £450,000 + £80,000 Karz-e-Hasana remaining) to cover the cost
of the development.
